Creme with Kozunak

Ingredients

  • 300 g Semi Skimmed Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 60 g Caster sugar
  • 1 Vanilla essence
  • 200 g Kozunak

Instructions

  • Beat the eggs lightly with the sugar without foaming. Slowly stir in a thin stream, stirring continuously, preheated to 60C fresh milk.
  • Slice the Kozunak into cubes and place several in each ramekin. Top up with the egg mixture almost up. Allow the Kozunak to soak for a few minutes. Place the bowls in a deep baking tray and pour warm water.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160C for about 15-20min.
  • Serve with berries on top and some powdered sugar.

Notes

Kozunak is traditional sweet bread made for Easter.
