Chocolate Mousse

This is my version of the best recipe for Chocolate Mousse by me. Easy and alway fantastic final result.

Ingredients

  • 160 g Dark Chocolate Minimum 55% Cocoa
  • 40 ml Milk
  • 20 ml Brandy
  • 3 Egg Yolks
  • 3 Egg Whites
  • 40 g Caster Sugar
  • 250 ml Double Cream
  • 1 Vanilla

Instructions

  • Add chocolate and milk in a saucepan and over low heat melt and stir until smooth mixture. Stir in egg yolk one at the time until it tokens slightly. Add the Brandy and remove from the heat. Leave to cool completely. Whip egg whites with sugar to a firm meringue form. Fold into a chocolate mixture. Whip the cream and fold into the chocolate mixture. Pour the mousse into serving bowls and chill for 12 hours to set. Serve cold. You may garnish with some berries.
