Sour cherry Panna Cotta

Traditional italian dessert easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Milk
  • 500 g Double Cream
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 10 g Gelatine
  • 8 g Vanilla
  • 300 g Frizrn sour cherries
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 200 g Water
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour

Instructions

For Panna Cotta

  • Head the Milk, Cream and Sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Soak the gelatine in cold water and add softened gelatin to the hot Milk mixture and stir until dissolved. Stir in Vanilla. Pour into small molds or glasses and chill until set about 8 hours.

For sour cherry filling

  • In a small saucepan over low heat put the water and sugar to a boil. Add the frozen cherries directly from the freezer and the dissolved starch with some water. Allow to boil again, stirring constantly. As soon as it boils, pull out of the heat and let cool. Once the mixture has cooled completely, add with a spoon on top of the cream.
    Serve with mint leaf.
