Red Wine Pork Stew
A traditional and popular Bulgarian dish. Here's a slightly different and easy way to cook.

- 800 g Diced Pork Leg
- 2 Medium Onions
- 100 g Tomato Passata
- 200 ml Red Wine
- 1 l Chicken Stock
- 1 t.sp. Paprika
- 2 Bay Leafs
- Thyme
Fry the meat in a pan until golden and place on kitchen paper to drain. Cut the onion and fry, add the meat and wine. Once the wine has evaporated, add the tomatoes, red pepper, chicken broth, bay leaf and thyme. Bring to boil on medium heat until the meat is tender. Thicken with Roux (see flour roux). Serve with rice or mashed potato. Enjoy your meal.
